Street Pianos

I spotted two guys enjoying one of the Street Pianos in Soho Square Garden today…

Street Pianos

I think it’s such a lovely idea to put pianos all around town for anyone to play. There are 50 pianos scattered across London, and they’ll be there until 13th July. For more information, visit streetpianos.com.

This initiative is part of the City of London Festival.

What an inspired idea, that would be so much fun, i was in England in 1962 and have lovely memories of the people there. I wish we had more Street Fairs in communities around the country, everybody from infants to Senior seniors, families being out together on week-ends and delighting in the Artistry of it all.

It is a great idea! I was there on Thursday – indeed it was lovely to listen to a couple of talented pianists in the late afternoon.

This is awesome. Hopefully the next thing will be Street Theremins.
