The Londoner

Whitecross Street Party

I don’t know who this piece on Whitecross Street is by, but I love it! It’s one of those things that can be easily missed if you don’t look up. Although this week the weather in London has been unusually nice, I think this statue shows the more typical Londoner, on his way to work, battling the weather, clutching his newspaper, and not looking where he’s going! šŸ˜‰

this was done by Nick Reynolds for Whitecross Street Party, Rise of the Non Conformists Part 3. It was a commissioned piece and will be taken down today unfortunately. Its actually a comment about bankers and the banking system and the corrupt nature of what has ben happening in this country. I think the banker should be hanging by a noose! Great piece!
