Thierry Noir & Stik on Holywell Lane

Once again, the huge wall on Holywell lane (on the side of Village Underground) in Shoreditch has had a new lick of paint, this time courtesy of Thierry Noir & Stik. Read more about their collaboration over at Street Art London. There’s something I just love about the simplicity of Stik’s work – I find the character’s face as soothing to look at as a Japanese great Buddha – and this one is about as large! I wish he would stay there and they would just paint over Noir’s character with different characters every month or so (no offence to Noir – this blue dude is cool too). It would be brilliant to see Stik become a permanent resident with a colourful array of new friends…
