The 1,000th

Amazingly, today marks Picturing England’s 1,000th post! I started Picturing England after I returned from Japan in 2011 as a way to keep myself occupied whilst job hunting, and to make sure I never stopped looking for the interesting things in life. At times it’s been really hard to keep posting, but still I have managed to find something to share every day! I will be taking a short break in May and JuneΒ this year as I have some other things to focus on for a while, but I’ve decided to keep up the daily posts during April as I do have a few cool pictures to share and might get the chance to take some more next week, too. So, for now, thank you to everyone who stops by! I hope you like what you see, and please do feel free to leave comments any time.

I don’t have anything really special to post today (I carried my camera around all day but the weather was grim and there wasn’t even a sunset to snap), but I think this mural I spotted in Stokes Croft the other week is pretty cool…
