That is pretty cool as the plastic dress does look real.
BTW – I assume you heard the news by now, but — like Gromit Unleashed, there’s “Shaun in the City” (Shaun the Sheep) to coincide with the new film next year. Shaun sculptures will be in London in spring 2015 and then Bristol for summer 2015. So it will be many months of Shaun-spotting. (And a good excuse to go to Bristol — I used to work there several years ago and love visiting there.)

And if you’re in London, check out BusArt (bus sculptures to celebrate the year of the bus coming in September but there’s not much about it and I just hope it’s as good as the phone boxes a few years ago). At the moment in London, there’s BooksAboutTown sculpture trail which I’ve nearly finished photographing and my blog post is waiting to be published… watch that space 🙂

Thanks Jenn, yes I’d heard about ‘Shaun in the City’ – looking forward to that! I hardly go to London any more but did see some of the BooksAboutTown online – they look cool! 🙂

This is a cool find – A little bit of humour too. I would echo Jenn’s point about Books about Town – some superb installations. I’m about half way through photographing them – there are 50 in total, or there were 50, one has already been removed due to vandalism. How sad.

Pity about the one being vandalised. This always seems to happen on these trails sooner or later. Which book was it? I saw most of them within the first two weeks. The trail around Holborn was done a bit later as it is a bit of a pain to get to for me currently.
