About

My name is Ali Muskett, but I’m better known in the blogging world as Haikugirl. I’m the creator of Haikugirl’s Japan and AliMuskett.com, and I’m still updating them both. Japan is my real passion, but I’m living in England now and have realised there are some really interesting things to photograph here, too. So I decided to start Picturing England. This blog is mainly photo-based without much text. I don’t claim to be an expert at photography – it’s just my hobby. Most of the photos you see will be taken either with my Canon PowerShot SX40 HS (camera) or with my Sony Ericsson Xperia (phone). Sometimes I play with various software to create effects. All photos on this site are my own.

If you want to stay up-to-date with my posts, why not subscribe (via RSS or WordPress) or follow me on Twitter. I’m also posting different photos via my Android smartphone on Instagram – look for me @Ali_Haikugirl. I’m always happy to hear from you, so please feel free to leave comments below posts or send me a Tweet any time.
