Mr Dot Fahrenheit

I used to often spot Mr Dot Fahrenheit‘s work in London, and when I uploaded some photos on to Flickr I was invited to add them to a group. After having done that, I was sent some original Mr Dot Fahrenheit goods as a thank you! I was so excited to receive this mysterious brown envelope the other day. Thanks Mr Dot Fahrenheit!

Wandering around Shoreditch today I came across a few cheeky Olympics/Olympic sponsor-themed pieces by St8ment

NB. When I first posted this I thought all these pieces were by Mr Dot Fahrenheit and then I discovered that only the last one was, so I’ve heavily edited this post! Sorry for any confusion – I’m still getting to know my street artists! 😉

Jubilations Picturing England!

Today, 1st June, is Picturing England‘s 1st birthday! I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who has followed this daily photo blog in one way or another so far, and I hope you will continue to like and comment on my posts in the future. This weekend the Queen is celebrating her Diamond Jubilee – 60 years on the throne. Picturing England has a very long way to go before its diamond celebrations, but let’s join the queen in her jubilations this weekend and celebrate England in all its diversity. It truly is a wonderful place to photograph!

Mr Dot Fahrenheit

Without intending to, I snapped quite a few pieces by street artist Mr Dot Fahrenheit in Shoreditch recently. I didn’t know I had, until he kindly came along on Flickr and favourited them!
